Sculpture & Performance
Glimmer is a conscious examination of drinking behavior at vernissages and social gatherings. The idea behind it is to enable visitors to reflect on their own consumer behavior. The choice of materials plays a central role, as they create a strong contrast and therefore have a special effect.
On the one hand, there is the elegant wine glass, which traditionally stands for lightness, enjoyment and classicism. On the other hand, there is the heavy stone, which offers a completely different tactile experience and literally grounds the glass. These contrasting materials challenge visitors to find new ways of drinking from the wine glass - the alcohol lends a certain lightness, while the stone simultaneously conveys the feeling of staying on the ground.
The concept is based on the exciting interplay between lightness and heaviness, tradition and innovation, and invites visitors to look at classic objects in a new light and question their usual thinking and drinking habits.

interactive Blender & Touch Designer
The immersive and transdisciplinary performance Fólkvangr, which took place on 29.07.2023 in the SANAA building.
14 performers and 63 participants took part in this performative experiment. It lasted two hours and was based on direct interaction between the performers and the audience.
During the course of the evening, the brain frequencies of the test subjects were set to music and visualized live. The principle on which this dubbing and visualization is based, as well as photos and recordings of the project, will be presented at this symposium.
We build an interactive anmiation with blender and touchdesigner what was influenced by the brain frequencies of the test subjects. We used the information of Delta that influenced the objects on the example picture in different ways.
We live in a radius of all our experiences that feeds on its repetitions and brings us to an everyday life that is the norm for us. Forms are set, visual languages are duplicated and experiences become predictable. We lie to ourselves that there are things that lie outside this radius. Yet it is the border crossing that brings us to the unknown. Fixed forms become fluid, visual habits become distorted and space opens up as a field of tension. In peripheries, fingers glide along the edges of glasses while our eyes dart across corners: We feel along the line.
Objects from the design collection of Isabelle von der Born and Viviana Krajewski are exhibited, as well as sculptures and video works by Charlotte Gisèle Chapuis.
